Senior Cloud Security Engineer responsible for securing Amgen's global cloud platforms through the design, implementation, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud security capabilities across AWS and other cloud environments. Key responsibilities include designing secure architectures across public, private, and hybrid clouds; implementing security controls including IAM, PAM, encryption, key and secrets management, certificate management, network segmentation, CSPM, vulnerability management, and compliance automation; developing Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform and CloudFormation; establishing cloud governance, security baselines, guardrails, and landing zones; integrating cloud logging, monitoring, detection, and SIEM/SOC capabilities; embedding security into SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, container, Kubernetes, serverless, and cloud-native environments; conducting security reviews, threat modelling, and risk assessments; supporting incident response, forensic investigations, audits, and compliance activities; securing cloud-native AI, GenAI, LLM, MLOps, LLMOps, Databricks, and AI platforms; and partnering with engineering, DevOps, platform, security, and AI teams to improve security and resilience. Preferred qualifications include strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, cloud and information security, networking, cryptography, IAM, DevSecOps, SIEM/SOC operations, AI security, cloud-native applications, containers, Kubernetes, APIs, automation, and scripting using Python, Java, Node.js, or similar technologies. Certifications such as CCSP, CCSK, CISSP, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or AWS Solutions Architect are advantageous.
