The role focuses on cloud networking, hybrid connectivity, security integration, DNS services, operations, and continuous improvement across multi-account and multi-region AWS environments. Key responsibilities include designing and supporting AWS networking solutions such as VPCs, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPNs, PrivateLink, routing, and DNS; implementing secure cloud-network architectures and network segmentation; troubleshooting complex connectivity issues across AWS, on-premises infrastructure, firewalls, DNS, and applications; supporting incident response, root-cause analysis, operational readiness, capacity planning, and disaster recovery; and collaborating with Cloud Platform, Network, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field and have 3+ years of relevant experience. Required skills include hands-on AWS networking experience, knowledge of VPC, Transit Gateway, Route 53, Direct Connect, VPNs, security groups, network ACLs, IPv4, TCP/IP, routing, DNS, BGP, hybrid-cloud networking, infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, or AWS CLI, and strong troubleshooting capabilities. Preferred qualifications include AWS networking certifications, experience with multi-account and multi-region AWS environments, cloud security architecture, enterprise firewalls, centralized DNS, observability tools, regulated environments, and strong communication skills.
