We are looking for an AI Engineer and Data Scientist (Microsoft focus) to join Capgemini Portugals Data and AI consulting team. The role focuses on delivering end-to-end AI solutions across predictive and prescriptive ML and GenAI, ensuring production readiness through strong MLOps, LLMOps, and Responsible AI practices on the Microsoft ecosystem.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and deploy ML solutions aligned with business goals, including training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and drift management.Build GenAI applications using Azure services such as Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Studio, integrating with enterprise data and systems.Implement MLOps and GenAIOps practices including CI or CD, observability, governance, automated evaluation, and monitoring.Apply LLMOps lifecycle concepts to ensure solution quality and repeatability.Embed Responsible AI principles including privacy, security, risk controls, and auditability.Support pre-sales activities and client workshops, including technical solution design, estimates, and demo or POC delivery.Contribute to shared assets, templates, and reusable deployment patterns.YOUR PROFILEMinimum of 2 plus years experience delivering AI or ML solutions, preferably in production contexts.Strong foundation in predictive and prescriptive AI and experience building GenAI solutions.Hands-on experience with Azure AI services or Azure ML and familiarity with MLOps or LLMOps practices.Proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with APIs and system integration is a plus.Strong communication skills, structured problem-solving, and ownership mindset.Fluency in Portuguese and English.
