We are looking for a Junior SAS Data Engineer to join our team in Lisbon (hybrid work).Your main responsabilities will be:Ensure the integration of data into the databases where it will be stored, whether in simple structures, Data Marts, Data Warehouses, or Data Lakes, both in cloud environments and on-premises.Define and implement ETL pipelines, as well as support the deployment and quality testing of these structures.Implement data ingestion solutions in batch or real-time pipelines.Ensure coordination between the DAU and the IT team to structure and implement governance for all informational databases.YOUR PROFILEAcademic background in Statistics, Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or similar analytical or technical fields.Strong motivation to develop skills in data engineering, including SQL, SAS, ETL, and data modelling (training provided).Curiosity, analytical thinking, and an interest in working with large datasets and complex data environments.Good understanding of logical reasoning, problem-solving, and structured thinking - even without hands-on experience.Availability and willingness to learn tools such as SAS, SQL or T-SQL, Shell scripting, ETL frameworks, and data platforms.
